TST BOCES Teacher's Association is sponsoring a mural to brighten our hallways in the Smith School!

At Least 1 Artist Awarded: $2,000 (for artist stipend & supplies)

Theme:
Serving nearly 900 diverse students (K-12) & hundreds of adults, TST BOCES encompasses Adult Education, Career &Technical Education, Exceptional Education, TST P-TECH Academy, & the Regional Alternative School. TST BOCES is committed to providing a safe & caring learning environment where students feel valued in a supportive educational community of positive relationships. We are very open to what these murals will looks like ... The murals can, but don't need to, depict the activities listed above. What we are looking for is creative imagery to further uplift & inspire our beautiful school community.

Timeline: June 10: Mural proposals due
July-September 2024: Mural(s) painted

1) Image/sketch of mural proposal
2) 3-5 examples of painting experience
3) Written statement: - Name, contact, brief artist statement

- Materials list

Where: 555 Warren Rd, Ithaca Walls are 8 feet tall. Width is up to you!
